OPEN BITE + LONG FACE HEIGHT

ED

Ed had been wearing braces for 2 years when we first met. He did not like his smile and was unable to bite with his front teeth. In fact, Ed had one of the most significant open bites I have seen and unfortunately, conventional orthodontic treatment was not working.

Pre-surgical orthodontic alignment of Ed’s teeth was completed with new braces. The upper and lower jaws were then surgically repositioned to correct his bite and optimize his dental and facial esthetics.

NAVA

Nava had been experiencing frequent headaches and facial pain for several months and was looking for relief. She was secondarily concerned about the appearance of her teeth and smile and was aware that she had a problem with her bite.

The first step for Nava was to address her pain concerns. Then braces could be placed followed by upper and lower jaw surgery to improve the function of her bite and optimize her dental and facial esthetics.
