Underbite + dental crowding (phase I)

HG phase I Tx photos

Haley presented with an underbite and dental crowding. "Early" interceptive treatment with dentofacial growth modification and braces was recommended to correct the underbite and prevent chipping of the incisors. Growth modification corrected the underlying cause of Haley's underbite, her disproportionate jaw growth, and promotes more proportionate facial growth for her remaining growth. Phase II comprehensive orthodontic treatment will be required in a couple years after the remaining permanent teeth emerge to finalize the bite and detail incisor esthetics.

MS Phase I Class III

Megan presented with an underbite, facial asymmetry and dental crowding. "Early" interceptive braces were placed for dental alignment and dentofacial orthopedic growth modification was initiated to correct Megan's asymmetric jaw growth. Growth modification corrected the underlying cause of Haley's underbite and facial asymmetry, her disproportionate jaw growth, and promotes more proportionate facial growth for her remaining growth. Phase II comprehensive orthodontic treatment will be required in a couple years after the remaining permanent teeth emerge to finalize the bite and detail incisor esthetics.
