Alli presented with a severe overbite and dental spacing. Phase I, "early" braces were placed to align Alli's teeth and growth modification was used to correct the severe overbite by redirecting her facial growth. Phase II comprehensive orthodontic treatment will be required in a couple years after the remaining permanent teeth emerge to finalize the bite and detail incisor esthetics.

Ben's parents were concerned about his overbite and damage to the upper left central incisor due to the protrussion of the upper front teeth. Ben's Phase I "early" orthodontic treatment included braces and growth modification to align and retract the upper front teeth to reduce the risk of further chipping. Phase II comprehensive orthodontic treatment will be required in a couple years after the remaining permanent teeth emerge to finalize the bite and detail incisor esthetics
